Being the cheapest hotel in my desired class, I was skeptical, but the reviews I read calmed those fears. When we arrived, the exterior of the hotel wasn't great (not bad...just it's an older 2-story...not one of the newer 4-story Hampton Cubes I'm used to staying at), and I was worried again. But the interior and the staff were great. The room was very nice. Everything was clean and comfortable. No bad smells. We didn't stay for breakfast, so I can't speak to that. When I got home, I realized that I had left a pair of glasses and a phone charger in the room. When I was driving by a couple of weeks later, I decided to check if they still had them, so I stopped in and they did! Pro tip: If you plan to eat at the Texas Roadhouse next door, be sure to use the feature to get on the waiting list ahead of time. When we arrived, we went right in, past the hostess telling people it would be a 45-minute wait.

The location was convenient and easy to get to. The room was nice and clean and spacious. Breakfast suited me very well. Check in was easy. Room was easily accessible from parking area. Lighting was very good and I didn't fee uncomfortable as a woman traveling alone coming in after dark. As a woman I loved the large mirrored door on the closet!

I slept very well on the comfortable queen bed. Breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. Overall, an excellent experience.

The staff was very friendly, professional and welcoming. The hotel was very well kept, clean quite. The breakfast was great. Staff offered additional services due to me having my Mother's funeral the next day if needed. I appreciate all the kindness and friendly staff. Will always stay here when I come to town.

The room and lobby area were updated which is real nice. The AC in the room also had a “dry” option which was AMAZING since it was a fine humid Texas stay. The king room was very spacious and comfy. All the staff I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place!
